My mom has to be the strongest woman I know.
She has weathered many storms. Running my sister to different doctors appointments, therapist, school events and everything in between. She did this all while taking care of me (which wasn’t always easy).
She has been doing this for 34 years! My sister had been misdiagnosed for most of her life. Therefore, my mom was trying everything to assist my sister. With the correct diagnosis there was a slight relief but also fear of unknown. I think my mom is an amazing example for other BPAN parents and all parents for that matter. She went to doctor after doctor until she found answers. She has done everything for my sister to give her an amazing life.
She does this all with grace.
